Information Nommad collects
Nommad may collect account information, vendor profile details, public food truck data, searches, location preferences, booking requests, reviews, follows, QR scan signals, analytics events, support requests, and admin activity records.
Vendor account data
Vendor account data may include business name, owner contact, staff access, menu, schedule, location, photos, social links, booking settings, TV menu settings, and operational dashboard data.
Customer search and location data
Nommad may collect approximate or precise location only when provided by the user/vendor or when the user chooses location-based features. Search and filter activity may be logged to improve discovery and identify demand.
Booking requests, reviews, and follows
Booking requests may include contact details, event details, estimated guests, event type, and messages. Reviews and follows may include names, ratings, comments, contact information, and notification preferences.
QR scan and TAP integration data
Nommad QR codes may route through TAP scan tracking. TAP may provide scan keys, scan counts, card identifiers, and redirect information. Private owner QR tokens and admin data are not public and should not be exposed in public payloads.
Analytics and cookies
Nommad may use local analytics and optional tools such as GA4 or Mixpanel when configured. Analytics scripts that are not strictly necessary should respect cookie consent settings when consent is required.
How information is used
Information is used to operate Nommad, show public vendor pages, process requests, improve search, moderate content, provide support, monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and maintain integrations.
Service providers
Nommad may use hosting, maps, email, analytics, monitoring, QR, TAP, and support service providers. These providers should only receive information needed to perform their services.
Data retention and security
Nommad keeps information as long as needed for platform operation, legal, security, support, audit, and business purposes. Security controls are designed to protect private data, but no system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
Children and minors
Nommad is not intended for children. If a parent or guardian believes a minor provided personal information, contact Nommad for review.
User privacy choices
Users may request access, correction, deletion, marketing opt-out, or location-data limitation through the Data Request page. Nommad will review and verify requests before taking action.
Location data choices
Customers can avoid browser location features and search by city or area instead. Vendor public location/status data is intentionally public when published by the vendor or admin.
California and EU/UK rights placeholders
Depending on where Nommad operates, some users may have additional privacy rights. These sections must be reviewed with counsel before launch and adapted to actual legal obligations.
